    Did the tube get dented or the prints inside were already damaged? Ames Bros uses those PVC like tubes. I have never had a damaged tube / print from them.

    They really are nice posters both the gold and chrome. It'll look great right next to my Pendleton Skyline poster!

    I emailed ames on wednesday about my print damage... no response yet. Hope you have better luck tempo, mine will atleast frame out, yours is pretty bad. Whoever packaged these is an idiot. The damage is 100% consistent with someone grabbing them on the edges too hard and rolling them improperly

    Tempo, my gold arrived with two dents in the exact same spot. They're smaller than yours, but still there. 2/2 i got are dented. Still waiting on response from Ames. Unreal.

    It's a shame that better care wasn't put into rolling up these posters. Hopefully they make it right and have backups in their shop. For $250 a poster better care should be taken...

    Got the regular in today, sturdy plastic tube, no end caps?! Just packing tape on ends. Got lucky with no damage, but seems like a rookie move by an established artist.

    They've packed this way for a long time - personally I've never had a problem with damage, I have a feeling most of the issues are with how they roll them, and the type of stock they use to print on. The paper seems delicate and probe to creases etc.

    This is my first time ordering from Ames. No end caps??? That's insane. Call me crazy but wouldn't the end caps help minimize the tube from crushing under pressure during transit? That whole outer-force-physics shit... ;)
