I'll be there with the new wife (Oct. 4 wedding) in section 207. I lost on GA seats but I'm happy to be in the building! This show will be sandwiched between Lincoln and St. Paul, it should be a great few weeks!

I was hoping to get in town early enough to have lunch at the Bent River Brewery. Since I am going to Detroit the night before & driving in from Toledo that morning, lunch at the BR may have to wait until Saturday. :))

I randomly hear talks of bars to the west around the Rock Island hotels, some possibly close to the arena, & others elsewhere around downtown. I wish there was 1 place large enough & staffed enough that we could all get in to meet up with everyone & preparty.

I'm in the same boat, Jason...driving over after the Detroit show!!
I'm gonna try to make it to Kalamazoo that night & then only have a 4 hour drive into Moline the next morning.
Should be a FUN roadtrip...no big rush to get back either, so lunch at Bent River the next day sounds like a good plan!!!!

Coming with my bro. He has the higher number and got GA! I went for RES and got two with a 141,xxx number. Now which tix do we use???

I'm all in for the Craft Beer idea. That could be a blast. We have some decent breweries around here including a brand new one just opening in my hometown called Pollyanna. There is also 2Brothers in Aurora, Revolution in Chicago, and 3Floyds in Munster. Can't really count Goose Island anymore. Hopefully I can get lucky enought to bring some Zombie Dust! We're staying at the Holiday Inn in downtown Rock Island. Where will the PJ/Craft Beer Emporium be held?

P.S. Pearl Jam of course HAS played smaller venues. Even after VS. We saw a fanclub show at the link below in 1994. Capacity 2250. They played Angel of all things. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Regal_Theater

We were also at the Chicago House of Blues Katrina benefit show with PJ and Robert Plant. Bigger capacity but there were only 900 of us there. $1000 donation to get in.

Sounds like we will have a pretty good number of people bringing some local craft beers. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone!

Hey never been to the area, we are catching the show in St. Paul after so we bought return flight tickets from Calgary/St. Paul.
Google maps says about five hours from Minneapolis Airport to Quad Cities, is this accurate?
In Canada we ask "is it a six pack or a case in road pops?" ;P

Ugh I have 2 hrs from Detroit then 7 hrs the next morning. Taking my brother to his 1st pj show in Detroit then switching him out with the wife so she can attend her first pj show up close. So both will be excited (not that I am not). After 30 plus shows I get my kick out of watching another loved one experience what I have so many times!!!!!!
