Think about it Chicago and the east coast always get love. They will get something. A few east coast Eddie dates followed by a wrigley or united show the weekend of the 27th. If they wait till next week to announce they will slightly increase your odds at getting tickets because most people will blow their load this week. It's pearl jam 23 years of unpredictable madness!!!!!

Just heard a lot of chatter that there will be a Chicago show. This is almost like them touring the east coast and leaving out Philly NYC or Boston. Not gonna happen

Damn it, I would have to try if Wrigley happened again. Nothing will compare to that atmosphere, and if it was less than 97 degrees, no Lightning Bolts, it would be even better

I loved Wrigley, but I have a hard time seeing this one. Every city that's being played on this tour is someplace that wasn't a stop in '13. Plus, they've already got gigs scheduled in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Missouri.

"The best thing about playing the show – is we don’t have to come back – because it was more than a bit brutal. Brutal enough that I only want to be inside Wrigley Field for a ball game." - Karrie Keyes

Is there any validity to this? What is the source, please?

Why would they do this when they're already playing Moline?

Milwaukee is closer to Chicago than Moline is. Moline is more of a Quad Cities show.

Haa. The cubies turn the season around, Host the one game playoff, and lose the game on a bad bounce on a field that was damaged by pearl jam fans 2 nights prior.
I dont see wrigley happening in september.

I 100% wish Chicago was getting a pair of weekend shows but at this point I don't see it happening.

It won't happen until the Cubs are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention...

Wait, that happened last week...OK, we're good.

    I heard its coming

Where did you hear this? Seems very unlikely. Don't they already have 2 or 3 concerts scheduled at Wrigley for this summer? I know they are limited with how many concerts they can host.

They can now have 4 per year starting this year, and I believe they only have 3 on the schedule. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

Fenway announced Tom Petty w/ Steve Winwood opening (a nice double bill, actually) just last week. So an announcement for a Wrigley show could still be coming. I am just not hopeful that one is.

OK - then there are 2 shows already that are close. Even less reason.

As someone who hasn't seen them anywhere closer than 3.5 hours away in almost 10 years, trust me, Moline and Milwaukee are Chicago shows.

If Chicago was getting a show it would have been announced yesterday. No Chicago show this time.

    that would explain Moline...

i think this could be legit... unfinished business and you know they wanted wrigley to be special and probably do a dvd/boxset... now they can really do it up and put out a dvd/boxset for the LB album

makes sense and the schedule seems right
