I'd maybe look at their debut, B.R.M.C., and their latest Specter at the Feast. Or maybe try their Live in London, should be able to download it from their site or ITunes.

I agree, definitely check out their debut album and the recent one is really good too.

Def. their first album, BRMC. Second album take them on, on your own is great too. Howl is different but pretty solid. Baby 81 is probably my least fav but still good. Bet the devils tattoo is decent. Last album is specter at the feast which I like a lot.

There's a topic in other music section with them which might help :-)

    this is just perfect! :D
Did anyone else notice that McCready has been wearing BRMC-t-shirts recently at concerts. Might be his idea to have BRMC playing at Milton Keynes.

I actually like the album Howl a lot, but i guess it doesn't really represent the overall style of the band...

Yeah I posted some pics of him wearing their ahirts in the BRMC thread :-)

Howl is real good, like i said different from their other albums but real solid. Devils waitin is probably my fav song off that album.

Bringing a slice of the bay area to Europe ... LOVE it. If there must be an opener, here's hoping BRMC get the nod for the tour!

Not sure how PJ fans will take to them ... but faaack, I love the droning/meandering sound on this one ...

I wouldn't mind it if they did the whole tour with them.
    Haven't seen them for awhile.

I don't think there will be any openers except for the Milton Keynes show. The rest of the gigs are very much "An Evening With Pearl Jam"

I'd be very surprised if you were wrong on this Ian going by the times on the tickets and the duration of the shows PJ have been playing. BRMC are too good a band to be condensed into a support slot unless they get a good 60-75 mins. I'd just hope for one other good quality act to complete the bill.
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    WOAH!!

If you don't listen to BRMC, do yourself a favor and check them out. They're incredible.

BRMC is my 2nd favorite band, and I almost feel like I couldn't handle these two at the same show. I wouldn't have enough energy for it! haha

    Amazing, Pearl Jam. Amazing choice.

Wonder what the odds of BRMC joining Pearl Jam onstage are or vice versa?

We can have Eddie and Peter do a harmonica duet or something. Both bands use it, PJ on Footsteps, Drifting, Smile. BRMC on Complicated Situation, Fault Line and Ain't No Easy Way. Would be pretty epic.
