PJ slow things down a bit with the latest single from Lightning Bolt.

‘Future Days’ is the final track from the new disc and has a sadness about it that almost makes me wonder if it could be Pearl Jam’s last song. I doubt it, but you never know when it comes to Eddie Vedder. It could be part of his master plan to end the band on his terms.

Time will tell as to when PJ will pack it in but for the time being, the band continue to crank out new material. Listen to ‘Future Days’ and let us know if it belongs on the Buzz playlist.

Right now LB is the new single. I think FD will primarily be for Triple A stations

WTF? I get that some don't like this song (I'm in the camp that enjoys it) but to receive it as a sad song makes me wonder if the reviewer even listened to the song. It's a LOVE song for cryin' out loud: One of surrender, acceptance of burdens past and finding joy and hope in what's to come.

Agreed, it will be a AAA radio release (Mediabase has it as an April 7th add date). This is a rock station jumping the gun/trying to be different from their competition/of having freedom b/c of lack of competition, a lot of small/medium market stations will go off mark because they try to be different.

Lightning Bolt is the release for rock stations, currently #12 on the latest Mediabase Active Rock chart. #17 on Mainstream Rock and #48 on Alternative.

Most of the time it's the songs you don't like that are the hits. Not you you. The universal you

Is this really the third single? Not a good choice, especially since the last single is a slow ballad.

I thought is was going to be Lightning Bolt or Infallible. That would make the most sense for the radio.

    Does it really matter?

    1. Most of the PJ fans bought it already
    2. Beth (From Kiss) was their biggest single and it was the B-side.
    3. Meh
