"8 hidden Pearl Jam references in television and film"

I'm pretty sure most if not all of these were well known and often discussed, but I still thought it was funny that someone made an article about it.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt listened only to Pearl Jam while filming "The Lookout." A Yield tour poster can be seen in the movie.

Jack's Music is my favorite record store. It's located right down the street from where I went to high school and I spent plenty of days after school lurking around the place. Love the place to this day.

The Superman TV show from the 90s had a sad scene where Clark Kent bought PJ tickets (from a scalper?!) to try to go on a date with Lois, then something came up, they couldn't go, and he had to give them to Jimmy....

I don't think the scene is written as sad, but any time Superman misses out on a PJ show isn't cool.

No mention of the shirt on Parks & Recreation or Rules of Engagement? There was also a great Rules of Engagement scene where the wife says the husband just wanted to decorate the baby's nursery in Pearl Jam posters. I know there was some other really old sitcom where they said they got tickets to Pearl Jam. And it was at a time when they weren't touring and I said "That's fake, Pearl Jam didn't even tour this year!"

Sort of - Step Mom - good one.

I don't know if this counts, but Role Models came on the other night and Rudd stated in the work truck when talking to Scott about Kiss....."I wanna rock and roll all night and part of every day"! hahah

Not film/tv, but PJ mentioned in 2011 Pulitzer prize winner for fiction "Visit from the Goon Squad" by Jennifer Egan. A character mentions that she and her kid were trying to find some music they both liked to listen to in the car, and decided on Pearl Jam.

Flight Of The Conchords episode "New Fans." Bret is explaining to Murray during a band meeting why he's not a member of his own band's fan club. Bret says, "because I'm only a fan of popular bands, like the BeeGees and Pearl Jam."

And in ''Dreamcatcher'' by Stephen King..the U.S. army deside to drob bomps in some mountain where they think that alliens are hiding..P.J. music is playing from the speakers..like the scene at the ''Apocalypse now''
