Chris Cornell is just amazing. And so is his new album, Carry On. All of his music is just amazing. It's like I'm in a different place whenever I listen to his music. It's so soothing. His voice is unbelivable. It's beautiful lyrically and musically. Cornell is just...AMAZING. Def, the best.
I was just wonering if anybody else here liked/loved him as much as I do...
Thanks.

Why would someones FIRST post on a fanclub forum be about a different performer. I don't get it?0

I used to be the biggest Chris Cornell fan but lately I just feel he's not the performer I thought he was, and I don't care much for Carry On at all :(Dublin - August 23rd 2006

No, I understand that, I see a gazillion posts on here about CC.
I mean the original person that started the topic. It is their very first post on this forum, and it is about Chris Cornell? Just seems odd to me. Perhaps ones first post on a Pearl Jam forum should be about....oh, hmmmm, let me think...gee, maybe Pearl Jam?
just sayin.0 -

I have to agree and disagree. I also love Cornell, especially his acoustic stuff. If anyone has heard his acoustic show from Sweden...its unreal. However his new album Carry On does suck. I was so excited to listen to it when it came out and was so dissapointed after hearing it.

Chris is an amazing artist. He just had a concert in oslo, and it was mindblowing. His voice is incredible, of the very few artist I've heard who sound as good live as they do in records. He gave everything from the very first minute and the crowd asnwered the same way.It was truly a concert to remember.
I really don't see why people insist in comparing Chris and Eddie, I think they both are fantastic. I prefer Eddie cause he gives my heart a different beat, nothing makes me more sensible than his voice, but Chris is an outstanding singer as well, and I truly enjoy his music. His boots are thunder as he plays.0 -

Where you up front at the concert? I was in the middle, by the stairs, and I can't regret it enough. I had these two silly girls beside me, giggling and texting and talking nonsense the whole time,God, they made me mad.I can't understand why someone would pay that much money to go to a concert they aren't interested in.I should have gone to the front, it's just that I have a bit of claustrophoby, and I always try to place myself near the doors.
Anyway, it was a really great concert. After it finished we went for a bite, just behind the teather, and when we came out the guys in the band were about to go into their buss, so we got to thank them for the concert. They say thanx back and smiled, seemed very laid back and relaxed. They did a great job so they had every reason to be satisfied. His boots are thunder as he plays.0 -

i'm doing a crossword right now... 4. across... 5 letters... Big fucking ugly monster that lives under a bridge and eats goats... i have T R _ L L... wonder what it could beoh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0
