LA/Beverly Hills/Sunset Strip

So I'm staying at The Hotel Sofitel in Beverly Hills Saturday and Sunday nights, and it looks to be not too far from the Sunset Strip (a little over a mile walk).

Anyone else staying up in that area? Will people be pre-partying / post-partying / cabbing it to the venue and back? I'll be with a couple other guys flying in from MI, but I'm just looking for input about the area and maybe a group of us can hook up and do up the Sunset Strip PJ style!

Looking forward to LaLa Land!!! (after San Diego of course)

Nobody partying on the strip pre-show? Is LA just too big to try and coordinate meet-ups?

Go to The Viper Room, The Whisky A Go Go, The Rainbow Bar ans Grill and The Roxy over on Sunset Blvd, just east of Doheny Dr. Lemmie from Motorhead will probably be at the Rainbow, along with Ron Jeremy. The Rainbow is right next to the Roxy (where I saw Brad perform in 2010). From Beverly Hills, it's about two or three miles to the east.
