I just spun side A of my 10c black vinyl.
I noticed just one pop so far during the Sirens. But I need my bass level really low to keep annoying humming away.
Booklet - perfect
Inner sleeve - four inch tear on one side
Vinyl itself - the edge is not soft at all, it's rather sharp.

Just played Lightning Bolt through..was really worried after previous posts, but vinyl had no major issues on sight.
Getaway seemed to be missing the driving bass I heard on CD. Sirens had 2-3 quick pops(could have just been dust) Second side was pretty good.
Stickers were there and download card too.
Won't be sending back or asking for exchange.

I received my copy this afternoon. Purchased through 10c. The jacket, sleeve, insert and stickers are flawless. The actual record not so much. Several pops on side A. Side B is clean, however the whole album sounds muted. I also had a couple vinyl shards inside of the sleeve. Any information on if 10c is going to handle on a case-by-case basis or will there be a mass communication to buyers?
Mine came today. Packaging all in good shape, record had some smudgy look to it, but I started with Side B since "Pendulum" was the most common problem. Had some pops, but sounded okay. Got through the next couple of songs okay, then went back to side A to check it out from the beginning. There's a big scratch across "Getaway" that causes skips throughout the song. Everything else is fine, but it looks like "Getaway" is well and truly ruined. Bummer.
If there does wind up being some sort of replacement method, I'll be jumping on it.
Good thing I have pit tickets for Vancouver. I will be hand delivering this messed up copy to the band if the situation is not remedied. Will hand to Stone during "Let the Records Play."
Vinyl condition: slight smeary looking spot over the first two tracks, but it didn't affect the playability. Maybe a total of three very minor pops throughout the whole thing that I imagine will take care of themselves when I get more vinyl cleaner.
Overall VERY happy and satisfied considering some of the issues people are having.
Really hope everyone gets taken care of!

Vinyl condition (play grade preferrably)...Good. Some pops in MYM and Swallowed Hole but not bad. Enjoyed the album very much. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. That doesn't mean I won't pick up another one somewhere.
Question: Is it normal that the vinyl looks like it is wobbling while playing/spinning?
Thanks and good luck to everyone else with the vinyl.
Everything is flawless and perfect EXCEPT maybe it's just me, and I haven't played it yet, but the entire pressing looks weak? Like it was barely pressed if that's possible.
I got two B side labels with it pressed into the grooves. The paper covers all of future days. The rest of the wax is good as well as the jacket and sleeve. Tried to call 10C today, no answer. Figured they didn't answer any calls with all this mess.
wow.
You are obviously from the sticks if you call it a hoodie! Us sophisticated city folk call it a bunnyhug!
Got mine in NJ yesterday from 10C. No postcard included, only mp3 download, but the cover and inner sleeve both were in fine shape. Love how the cover looks handpainted and the difference in the lyrics on the vinyl compared to the CD that I got last week. Vinyl looked good, played well also, only one noticeable pop, but I didn't clean it before playing so not too concerned.
Not sure if this makes any difference, but may be worth noting if it's any indication for others that got a good condition vinyl..I only preordered it on October 7th from 10C and not months in advance.
Hoping this gets fixed soon for everyone else who wasn't as fortunate.

Jacket / sleeve - Perfect condition. I was worried after reading so many posts about the issues but the spine and everything was in perfect condition. The cover feels cool different, like softer than other record sleeves. It seems like its nicer quality stock, but that it won't hold up as well as regular covers. I'm just guessing on that though.
Record - Seems to be in good condition and plays through just fine, but it appears someone spilt red paint or something all over it and covered the whole thing. This is on both sides. I don't know what to think about that.

I assume the condition of my vinyl deteriorates with every additional state it needlessly careens through.. from WA -> GA -> NC -> TN -> and is now in Jacksonville FLA...someone's drunk..

Just took mine for a spin - lot of noise between tracks, piece of glue stuck on vinyl during Sirens, heard line prior to the bridge 6 times before I had enough. Rest of packaging - stellar.
Other 180 gm vinyl releases I have picked up have been fantastic such as Wilco, MMJ, Pink Floyd's - Wish You Were Here and releases by the Foos. You hear nothing between tracks and not snap, crackle pop during the track.
A bummer for all involved as we know this was not the intention of anyone and mistakes do happen. I am sure it will get resolved quickly and efficiently. Gotta believe the best.

This is not a knock on RansomPTD, but....
This post frustrates me...that someone can receive an LP in "good" condition with pops, ticks and warped, and think they are lucky.
That simply shouldn't be the case.

this.
i expect pops, ticks, crack and warped vinyl from purchases i pulled from the $.99 used bin at my local record shop. not from a brand new, sealed vinyl that is touching my needle for the first time.

Haven't received it yet.
Tracking placed it going from Washington to North Carolina to Tennessee to Jacksonville thus far.
I live in Central Florida. Hopefully I will receive it tomorrow.
Not too optimistic about the condition though. Considering it changed carriers from UPS to US Postal Service.

Jacket is perfect. Vinyl sleeve is split thru on both sides.
Visually, vinyl was filthy. Smudges, hand prints, pinhead indentation on last track side A. Will listen soon an update
