Set List

01. Pendulum-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
02. Low Light
03. Sometimes
04. Corduroy
05. Lightning Bolt-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
06. Mind Your Manners-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
07. Do The Evolution
(after a short pause while the band discuss the set list Ed talks about playing Buffalo and the enthusiasm of the audience. He says, “we were going to hit you with four or five fast ones but then we thought, ‘were gonna be here a while, we need to pace ourselves.’)
08. Immortality
(Ed introduces the next song as being “written by Jeff on the 12 string bass and Mike McCready on the 12 string....I don’t know what that thing is....” The band starts to play but Ed is a little lost. He says, “c’mon we haven’t played this before...take two”)
09. My Father’s Son-from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
10. Even Flow
11. Swallowed Whole-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
12. Sirens-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
13. Once
14. Comatose
(Ed tells a story about the rest of the band recording “Mirror Ball” with Neil Young. Ed walked in when the band were counting how many songs they had. Neil says, “We got nine songs, if you have one we will have ten.” Ed replied, “I don’t have a song...I got shit.” Neil says, “I Got Shit”, thats the song. Write it.”)
15. I Got Shit
16. Infallible-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
17. Present Tense
18. State Of Love And Trust
19. Porch

Encore Break 1
(Band comes back and Ed mentions how much he likes the Buffalo Sabres logo. Someone in the crowd is shouting at Ed. He says, “It looks like you are shouting something at me but I lost my hearing about ’95. I think this song was written not long after that. It is about not having enough time at home(?))
20. Off He Goes
21. Yellow Moon-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
(Ed says “this next song is about family, sort of.” He mentions that he heard today that his daughter scored her first goal at soccer. He hated to miss it but the great audience helps not mind so much.)
22. Future Days-(from the new album “Lightning Bolt”)
(Facing crowd Ed says, “if this is what it feels like to play to the big city we are gonna turn around and play to the small town”. The band then faces to the back of the venue (like they do for “Last Kiss”). Matt plays a small kit. Ed stands on Matt’s drum riser and sings in Matt’s vocal mic. Jeff and Stone stand on the small rise Matt’s small kit is on.)
23. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
24. Rats
25. Got Some
26. Rearviewmirror

Encore Break 2

(Ed debates what people from Buffalo are called. Buffaloans? Buffalos? Jeff suggests Bison. Ed then says that the next song describes the way the feel right now)
27. Go
28. Alive
29. Baba O’Riley-(Townshend)
30. Indifference

After 2 nights... I almost dont want them ever to open with anything other than pendulum. It is perfect.

Sectioned off from the seats? Yes. But it's just one big GA section in front of the seats.

Awesome show as always! Pendelum 2 nights in a row was crazy, in a good way. Maybe worth mentioning is that Eddie was really struggling vocally tonight, but fought through it like a champ. Immortality was inserted after DTE to give his throat a break. Same with I Got Shit. Crowd energy was great, set list was awesome. Rats and Sometimes were firsts and must hears for me.

With London and Pitts that's it for me until the Candian tour next year :D

What an amazing show - start to finish.
The energy of the crowd was fantastic and the band fed on this, seemingly to divert from the plannied setlist to add Immotality and Rats at different points,
I thought Ed was superb the whole way through, This was a much better show than London, and I can honestly say there is absolutely nothing I would have changed,
    Awesome awesome awesome.
Out of 15 PJ shows this is in the top three for sure.
Yellow moon is one killer of a fucking song.
1ST PLAY ever of Father and Son, as well as I think Swallowed Whole both incredible + live.
Too many highlights to mention. It was non stop awesomeness, Good Canadian contingent at sect 117 rows 1 and two - you all rocked!
Yellow Moon is kicking my ass - what a great song,
Comatose, Porch, Go, Low Light, State of Love and Trust, it goes on and on.
You folks that have shows coming up you are in for a treat. They are better than ever. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

Whole show was phenomenal. Many thanks to Paul and Leanne from Kitchener-- you guys rocked!

Great show, great set, great crowd. Totally worth the trip home to see the band!
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

  • Ed was in a ADHD mood tonight and that was cool! I loved when he used his guitar to shine a spotlight all around the crowd in First Niagara. Went to Pitts last night and Buffalo tonight. New songs are amazing live end of story. Pend is an amazing opener.

  • I was at the 2010 show and think that Ed's voice is significantly better now that he has the smoking and slowed down the drinking. I don't think he got to a second bottle of wine, unlike 2010 when he was drinking wine from a boot during Ledbetter. I REALLY dug this set list. It was my first time hearing the new songs besides the singles. Good stuff. Low Light into Sometimes.. Rats....Baba was killer and Indifference to close?! Crowd was killer tonight too. My 10C tickets were a little further back tonight but I expected that with Toronto not getting a show.

Me and my brother ended up giving two Toronto girls a ride back to their hotel afterwards. Canadians everywhere!
  • Super great show. Canadians were awesome and everywhere tonight.
Went alone to the show but Met some awesome people there. Some seriously good energy tonight. Thanks everyone!

had a great time in Buffalo today and tonight, saw some familiar faces, met some new faces behind some board names, talked to some strangers that recognized me :lol: , which I always get a kick out of.

Band were fantastic as always, Pendelum is a great opener, I can forsee them doing this for the tour and then playing a more regular opener after, it definitely seems like the first 3-4 songs are going to be mellow tunes in the main set and first encore so that Ed can make it through the whole show, which I kinda like

    I will write more tomorrow

  • What a great show. It may be beat the Hamilton show a couple years back. I was at the left side of the stage with great seats. Props to the guy in front of us with the sign saying.. Wine is fine but Vedder is better. Eddie gave him his bottle of wine
    Underneath this smile lies everything...
  • With these last two shows I got 61 songs including 49 different songs. There were 15 new ones for me including 10 from LB (10/12) and 5 other ones. Not a bad "harvest". :D
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I just saw a YouTube video of future days, small town, and rats. The boys are playing on time. They don't seem to be rushing through the songs. They sound great.

Seems like a great night! Glad everyone had a great time!
I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.

I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan
Like every sparrow falling, like every grain of sand.
  • What a night in Buffalo!!! Met Mike on our way to pick up our tickets, so cool that he took the time to meet a few fans. Class act all the way!!!
The energy on the floor was crazy, there was even some crowd surfing going on. Definitely one of the most energetic shows I've been to. Setlist was killer, the new songs sound amazing live, even Sirens which I wasn't a fan of, but that changed last night. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5466/10245420123_99f762d1f7.jpg
