    Teenage fan right here!

In my second year of college now, been a casual since I was 16 and became a radical fan around 17. My gf got me into tem and though it took me a little while to warm up to them, one day I somehow got to that place where I was completely obsessed and in love. I haven't looked back since. Pearl jam is such a huge part of my life now, and I couldnt be more excited to see them for the first time on this upcoming tour.

I'm sure if any of you other youngsters out there are anything like me you probably curse the year you were born in. My gf and I constantly talk about how awesome it would have been to have been like 20 in 1991. Pj is my fav band of all time and for me honestly that would be heaven. Sadly, I cannot turn back the clock and therefore plan on seeing them as many times as possible now!

Look on the bright side... If you were 20 in 1991, you'd be 42 right now. ;)

Hey I'm a younger fan too! Im 20 and ive been a fan since i was 13. Ive never been able to make it to a concert though because i really struggle on trying to find people to go with. I really want to go to wrigley by myself because i live so close and i still cant find anyone to go with. The only problem is i cant get even a single ticket after all the trouble ive been through without paying $350+

If you live close, then head out to Wrigley a few hours before the show and look for some Jammers with spare tickets to sell. And don't worry about going alone, you'll meet lots of great people at the show, who share your passion for PJ (not to mention that it's gonna be easier for you to find a single ticket instead of two.) :)

Im really considering doing this its just im a 20 year old kid and i dont have 400 bucks to blow on a tickets even though id love to. Really its not even the ticket price im worried about, its that plus everything else ill wanna buy haha. If i could get one from face value- 200 bucks thatd be great haha i really dont mind going alone though. I wanna meet fellow jammers!

  • Hey!

I'm 14 and I am a PJ fan since I remember of breathing. My parents used to sing PJ for me when I was little, so when I started to listen to the albums and bootlegs by my own, it felt like I already knew the songs.
I share the same problem of not knowing as many people from my age as I would like to that are PJ fans too.

So, to answer the question, I'm a teenage PJ fan from Portugal. Where are you from?

Keep on rockin' in the free world!

I'm 16 and i'm from Brazil. My first show was in Lollapalooza Brasil 2013. Best day of my life, since that day i wishing so well a South America Tour...

I was a little kid when i discovered my love for Pearl Jam, about 4-5 years. I remember of picking Binaural and Riot Act everytime and putti on the sound, very very loud. Binaural remember my childhood, and my lot of time spending my time listening to PJ.

  • Hello there friend!

This forum caught my eye because i was always curious of who else was a teenager on here also. When i was in 6th grade i used to carry around this little cassette player with me everywhere because it had the radio on it and my family couldn't really afford an Ipod then. This was in 2006, around the release of the Avocado album when i first heard Pearl Jam with songs like Life Wasted and World Wide Suicide on the radio. I really loved it, but for some reason didn't look into their catalog. (Mistake)

It was until two years later when i was 14 that i heard Even Flow (Fell in love with it) on guitar hero and was like, "Didn't i really enjoy some songs from this band?"

Then i finally dug deep into their catalog and now i'm a pretty avid fan of theirs haha. Okay....i'm a HUGE fan. I am now 19 years old and am going to be a sophomore in college. I love all of their albums and look forward to Lightning Bolt :D Cheers!
One man stands alone, awaiting, for her to come home.
Eyes are closed,.. You cannot know.

  • I'm 17 and have been a PJ fan since 3rd grade basically. Nice to know not all people my age don't listen to the garbage that's fed to them.

I'm turning 16 in about a month and I've been a fan ever since I was 12 and my dad played his(Very scratched up) copy of Ten on a 4 hour car ride for me... Best Trip of my life!!!
