  • I was hoping for Raleigh since it is so close to me, but Charlotte here I come!! :D
  • I'm hoping to be there! I live in Virginia about two hours away, but have attended quite a few shows at the Time Warner arena and it's quite nice. Let's hope I get chosen as Charlottesville the night before is my #1 pick.

I was at the '96 show as well. It was held in basically a 3,000-seat high school football stadium. The anti-Ticketmaster days.

I, too, was at the legendary 1996 Charlotte show (Anti-TicketMaster/Anti-Jesse Helms/Gloria Steinem Speech). EPIC.

Charlotte is my hometown and I will BE there, lottery win or not!!!!!! 8-)

Lotto or no, I'll be there. Closest to me this time around and I always have fun when I visit Charlotte. Probably going to make it part of a little tour through Asheville, too, so I can hit up some breweries in my post-concert haze. :D

I'll be there. Just moved here a month ago from Phoenix. Excited I did not miss PJ in concert. I would have been ticked if it was west/south west tour only! :D

Not the best place acoustically. best bet is to get a 100 level ticket. or very low 200. about midway up the 200s you start to notice a sound loss.

There are some really nice breweries here in Charlotte. Check out the NODA area....

You can easily cab over to the show from NODA.

This has me concerned. I went to bristow in 2010 and its known for horrible acoustics. Hopefully time warner is better than that. I'm pretty sure it will be.

Well I very rarely post here, buthave been in the fan club since 96.

Saw PJ in Columbia, SC - and I am really excited for my first show in my adopted home town of Charlotte

i have seen many shows in the NY/NJ/CT area and hoping that my GA lottery request gets filled.

Looking forward to seeing you guys there, and meeting some PJ peeps!
I had a false belief that I came here to stay...

Lottery or no, I'll be there! Last PJ show I saw was 2004 Asheville. This has been a long time coming!

So to completely get ahead of ourselves- where should we pre-party? I live in Winston and my knowledge of Charlotte is not the greatest. I know an owner of Birdsong Brewery in NoDa where we could probably work something out with them, but is that too far from the arena to be feasible? Charlotte people - opinions?
