    Well, it's...unique!!! Thanks so much!

Holy crap I can't believe they played it, even if it wasn't part of the set, just to hear it at all is pretty sick.

Damn Boston--1st the 2004 World Series, now this!! :) LOL...

  • Whoooopie... let's hope, and pray that they play it.... If they do I can die happy, not from hearing the song, mind you, but all of the stupid signs and requests for the damn song will stop. There are about 25 songs I can think of that I would rather hear.

Dude the guy is having a laugh with you, the soundcheck is long before the crowd get there:)

  • Yeah be careful of the sarcastic fucks who think they're hilarious giving people crap.
Very few people will hear soundcheck and usually you cant get in, so its not going to appease alot of people

No signs in Boston Last night.....No Leash either.....hopefully tonight
  • Not only Leash, but a reworked Deep. If it's done in the same way Garden was reworked (Soundgardenesque) I will be very happy!

no it wasn't...give it up...the song sucks and the band knows it...it will never be played.

It'll happen tonight. Leash was last played in Boston on night 2 at the Boston Garden in 94.

In 04, at Boston 2, PJ brought back Alone and I've Got a Feeling back from a ten year absence.

    Haha, I know.
I'm predicted it when they played Hartford.
I knew they were gonna surprise the Boston crowd. :):D

Oh, how I wish I was in the States 20 days earlier. :(

Haha, enjoy it, all of you!
I'm not a big fan of the song, and I personally don't care weather they play it or not, but if they do, and they prolly will tonight, :D, its gonna be awesome.
I'm happy cause all the bitching and raving will finally/hopefully stop, and
the band will show us who's the boss :D:p

Enjoy it, you lucky bastards! Boston is gonna rock again tonight! ;):)

  • Figures, after I move to Michigan and finally see them live haha. I knew it would be Boston.

Crowd energy for that song is going to be through the roof. Probably why they don't play it.

I actually think it is a pretty good tune.

The playing of Leash will be uneventful in my Book.

I'd rather hear them play No Way

In my opinion they are waiting to play LEASH in Philly. It was in AC and Philly last year that all the chants started, and ED said, 'maybe next year'. I would be willing to bet they wont play it til one or both of the Philly shows.

    Agreed SOLAT13..

The 4/11/94 show was actually my first PJ show so this would be appropriate...

    Note to 5/25 attendeees:
    they also soundchecked:
    Breath
    You are
and Alone in Detriot without playing them ..
so they are all in contention for tonight as well!

If I hear Stone's guitar tech do another "test riff" of "You Are" without them playing it tonight, I'm gonna scream...!

Before last night and before hartford show, Stone's tech worked that "You are" riff in the pre-show preparation and it leaves me drueling every time.

PS: Anyone want to bet Ed does a Pre-set tonght as well???

Not for nothing, but Leash was a very influential song for me when I was 18 and at a very confused point of my life. It was reassuring to hear the words "I am lost I'm no guide, but I am by your side". Kind of like..."hey I'm fucked up too man...its OK....we'll get through it". I for one would not mind hearing it again!

Happy 15th to 'Leash' getting dropped in Boston.  That was a big deal at the time.

Can't wait for the next show......whenever that may occur.
