So I'm 20 years old, been properly into pearl jam for almost seven years now and I still haven't been to one of their shows. That being said, I've got my heart set on seeing them on this upcoming fall tour. I'm travelling from Ireland and it'll be my first time in the US so I'm pretty excited for it.

Also, just out of curiosity, how lucky have the Irish (or anybody else from outside the US) got with 10c tickets for US shows?

Oh yeah, hello to everybody on here!

It's a pretty new system, so I don't know if there is a lot of data out there.

With that said, if you are flexible, I'm sure you could put in for an out of the way type show with fewer Ten Club members vying for tickets.

That would be helpful for you. Really just avoid the New York, Boston, Philly, LA, etc. and you should be fine.

Whats up... Im 24, so in the same young boat. Youre chances of gettinag tix through the lottery are just as good as any american's chance as long as you enter in a timely manner.

I might disagree in the sense that his/her travel options might be limited, or it might just be much cheaper to hit a boston-ny run. Also, if they put in for boston or ny and hit, they can trade their spare for another primium show ticket. Just a thought...

So for sure, put in for all the best shows.... but have a 4th, 5th.... 11th choice and then would be sure to hit tickets for some place.

Yeah I was thinking about trying for a more out of the way type of show to better my chances to see them.

Yeah definitely. It'd be awesome to hit the likes of a new york or boston show that's for sure. I guess there's no harm in trying to get tickets for the bigger shows as well as the out of the way shows.

Cheers for the responses! and for future reference, I'm a guy

Hey thechrystalship, upcoming fall tour? Did I miss something? Is this for sure? If you do hit the east coast, don't forget about Toronto Canada(since your coming across the pond anyway) there are great bus and train options. Also I would try to visit the rock n roll hall of fame in between shows. Tons to see and do. Good luck, and enjoy the show/shows. :D

Best of luck, :) I managed to snap up some for PJ20 and I'm from Oz so I tend to agree. Your chances are just as good as the next persons. The US is amazing and they are incredibly nice and welcoming people. Have lots of fun!!! :D

A big hullo to thecrystalship (you really do know your music methinks) from Scotland. We've been in one draw for tickets and been successful so its 100 per cent for us and are heading to Chicago in July. The draw was pretty exciting at the time so be prepared and the best of luck.

    Welcome to the club.

    Woooo hoo!
But honestly! This lottery is relatively new as well! I am going to Wrigley on a 10c draw.. But only put in for one section! The one I figured no one else would fight for... Upper deck! Ha! Good luck on the snipe hunt, I mean ticket hunt! Just kidding! But seriously.. Plan, pray, work, make happen. It has always been this way in the PJ world. I hope you get to some shows!! I'd love to get to meet you! Welcome to the insanity by the way!

Not that I condone scalping, nor would I ever buy from a scalper — and a warning that there are often fake tickets out there — but if you are willing to pay that cost to come and stay in the U.S. for a show, and if you fail to win the lottery, you could always go that route to ensure your tix and your trip.

Cheers for all the kind replies. It's cool to hear from all of you :D

Also, it's deadly hearing about the shows you've scored tickets to through 10c, it makes me even more excited for this upcoming tour haha. Another thing that I'm looking forward to is meeting new people, as was mentioned in some of the replies, as I'm travelling alone. (None of my friends are into PJ so I don't wanna wait around and miss more shows y'know?)

Yeah I'll definitely give it my best shot to get to Toronto at some stage! Also, cheers for the rock and roll hall of fame recommendation, much appreciated :D

Yeah I get your drift. If I fail in the lottery I'll find a way to get tickets be it through some sort of general sale or from people selling their tickets. Thanks a lot!
