Eddie part of Sandy benefit in NJ?

I'm assuming that Ed is just providing some money to get this benefit going, but any idea if he has plans to appear? Only 10 minutes from my house... sounds cool even just to get to see MMJ.
Steve Earle added to Asbury benefit concert
Provocative singer-songwriter Steve Earle has been added to the line up of the On the Beach: A Sandy Relief Concert Jan. 2 at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, organizers announced on Friday.
Also, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam along with New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist and former Ranger Sean Avery have been announced as underwriters for the benefit. My Morning Jacket, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Joseph Arthur, Nicole Atkins, River City Extension and the Tangiers Blues Band are also on the bill, and Matt Pinfield will host. Funds raised will go to the Sandy relief efforts of Waves For Water,
RebuildRecover, Coastal Habitat for Humanity, the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and Food For Thought By The Sea.
The concert is being produced by photographer and filmmaker Danny Clinch, perhaps best known for his portraits of Bruce Springsteen, Asbury Park scenemaker and filmmaker Tim Donnelly and longtime Shore music promoter and former Asbury Juke Tony Pallagrosi.
Tickets are on sale through the Stone Pony and Ticketmaster.com.

Clinch has a history with the band, did most of the inside photos on Ukulele Songs, and he photographed Eddie's wedding.
