Wow, a whole thread just for me - I'm honoured :-)

I plan on uploading both of my 2005 comps to Youkan very shortly - the NA one next week, most likely.

After that, I will upload each of my 4 2006 comps also.

I'm busy working on the 2nd & 3rd leg 2003 comps at the moment, so unlikely I'll be working on any 2006 stuff again for quite a while.

My buddy lowlight79 over at the Red Mosquito is close to completing that sort of project at the moment.

I figure that between us, we'll have it all covered.

If you'd like to know the best versions of any particular song from 2006, please feel free to ask away.

Just wondering, did you do your listening on headphones or external speakers?

Looks like lowlight79 is doing a very comprehensive best of. I imagine it's going to be close to the size of your entire 2006 best of collection. I guess I was envisioning more of a 2006 "All Stars" comp.

I think what I may do is take your picks and pose the chosen versions from each leg against eachother in a knockout showdown. You of course can be the judge.

On a side note, from the 2006 Aussie comp, is the improv from Adelaide II the thing just before small town?

I listen to the shows mostly in my car actually. I travel around a lot with my job, which is fortunate in this instance as I'd struggle to plough through all the shows if I listened just at home.

I'm pig-headed enough to think that the versions I've picked from each leg are unquestionably the best, but I do appreciate that different people are going to be looking for different things in their favorite versions. For example, I'm not keen on 10+ minute versions of Porch, RVM etc.

Honestly, can't recall off the top of my head which part of the show that improv comes from - if it sounds a bit like the intro to RVM, that'll be the one ;-)
