    Bernier shouldn't have made the hit because it was dangerous. I agree with that. But I don't believe that we should remember him with sympathy instead of rage. I don't think we should remember him at all. We lost more on the fact that it ended up being a 5 minute major, and that we let up 3 goals, and that we couldn't come back from that.

    He deserves my scorn... One of the main reasons we got this far (and had a chance to go back to NJ) was the unbelievable patience all the players showed, in turning the other cheek. I think we only had one fight in the entire playoffs and with our short handed unit falling apart in the playoffs it was crucial that we took minimal penalties.

    It doesn't help when one of the teams involved is located where hockey is relatively unknown. Although if Canadian viewer are not counted in ratings, my theory is screwed.
