45 storage box?

Has PJ ever put one out? With the Christmas singles and other 45s being sold, I think an artfully decorated 45 storage box would be very useful.

That's nice and has the potential to be home to some stickers as well.

I was thinking about a vintage, suitcase style box with a handle on the lid covered in some Ames kinda art.

    I'd buy it.

I have this and just put PJ stickers all over it. Works like a charm. I have all the xmas singles, PJ 45 singles from Ten to Backspacer and all the EV singles and I still have room for about 20-30 singles.

Oh that is begging for the recently acquired 10C stickers! And can't beat the price.

I haven't seen too many of these around anymore, but of course Jack White has one for sale.

This one is kinda pricey but appears to be well made and would be easy to add stickers to. It is probably what the Third Man box is made from.

I agree Pearl Jam should have a custom box as well. I guess Jack White is just more dedicated to vinyl. :)

I have one of these and can attest to how nice it is. Someone on here recommended it a few years back. I have this perfect piece of foam inside bent in half, it allows the records to safely sit at a nice angle for display.

The only downside with this box, is I still don't know what to do with the oversized Christmas Singles, such as 2003. I still haven't found a way to protect and store them. It would be really nice if the entire set fit in to one box.

The first one is a better size. 45s fit in sleeves...the 2nd one is a few dollars more and slightly more narrow...just a heads up...

I had one of these, but it wouldn't fit 45s in protective sleeves. Anyone know of one slightly wider?

OMG!!!! You are my HERO!!! Thank you so much!

I actually have my old LPs from the 80's in a Peaches crate...from when Peaches was an actual store. And I have been looking for something similar for my new round of vinyl...and for singles (and even CDs!), for a while now, with limited success. Nothing I found at Amazon was 'just right'...and all I kept thinking of was that surely, *someone* was still making crates like Peaches!

Oh...this is just awesome! This may sound silly, but you have made my whole week. I have spend more time on Amazon and in local stores looking for music storage than you could possibly imagine.

    Thanks again!!!! :D

Ha! A good chunk of my LP collection was purchased at Peaches in West Palm Beach, Florida during the 80's. I used to spend countless hours (and dollars) in that store...and I used to LOVE those crates...and the thing is that everyone else loved them too - everyone I knew stored their albums in a Peaches crate. Those things were made of awesome - sturdy but lightweight. Just perfect.

I was able to find something similar for my CDs in the early 90's, but only purchased two 'crates' (which I still have, BTW) that store about 50-60 CDs total...which was sufficient in 1992....but now? Not so much.

I have been really surprised when I have been on Amazon and in local shops looking for storage - you can't find this sort of thing anywhere (I found one vendor on amazon...but they are SUPER expensive), and I have been mystified as to why, because in my world of the 1980's, these things were HUGE. And the solution is just so simple and inexpensive. I never have understood why they are now so difficult to find. I kept thinking "I don't need anything that spins around like a carousel....or had drawers...or stands upright like a rickety 'tower'. I just want a bloomin' Peaches crate! Why is that so difficult to find now?"

Really....this is just awesome. I only hope they ship to Alaska!

But now...oh my....I am SOOOO happy.
