How funny... I was thinking album cover! I like them all, especially the covers of Yield and Riot Act.

My favorite PJ song cover though? Definitely "The Kids are Alright". :D

surprised it took so long for someone to say the kids are alright. that would be a fun one, i'd love to see it live. another one i thought is a ton of fun i got to hear on a couple boots in the last few years is so you wanna be a rock and roll star. mother is one i've gone crazy about more recently. and i think everyone's heard last kiss a lot. i'd prefer soldier of love.

  • I'd have to go with Throw Your Hatred Down, the version with Neil at Bridge 2006. Every time I watch that performance, it gives me chills. It's one of my favorite Neil songs, and that acoustic version is out of this world!:clap:

Little Wing would be cooler if it was just Mike playing. Too heavy handed otherwise.

I really love the Gorge 1, 06 version. It takes you by surprise as Mike has played it as a solo tag before obviously but when the drums kick in and the band follow the atmosphere just goes through the roof.

I seem to be in the minority over The Who covers, I think Baba and LROM are awful. I do enjoy The Kids Are Alright, Let My Love Open The Door and The Real Me though. I would like to hear them do Sheraton Gibson and Can't Explain.

It's about time they did The Ship Song full band and Dock Of The Bay again. Any Neil Young or Bob Dylan song usually hits the spot.

Absolutely awesome! Thanks for posting. One of the greatest songs in the history of music in my opinion. Love Cropper's guitar solo. I think Otis Redding would've been pleased to hear PJ play this.

I'm surprised it took 4 pages for someone to mention "Kick Out The Jams", my favorite cover is PJ with Neil Young performing "All Along The Watchtower" from the Vote For Change Tour.

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

Agree. The Buenes Aires one could easily rank as my favourite song on the night. Made the hairs on my back stand up! ;)
