I miss the way Not For You used to end live

The prime example is the 2000 touring band version. Ed was it finger picking some notes. sounded really amazing.

he seemed to do something similar at pj20 but not to the extent of the 2000 version.

    I agree. The finger picking end to it is great, like the studio album.

    opening song means a lot...LUKIN would set the stage for a kicking show...10 years ago a little more angst...now seems to me that they start mellow and build up to tear it down...

    After all these years, my favorite still has to be the SNL '94 performance...so intense.

    Anyone know where a video might be posted? I've searched all over, and all I can find are the rehearsals. I'm guessing NBC still owns the rights to the broadcast performances.

    I agree. Check out the PJ20 Sountrack version of this song and it's ending. It's my fav Not For You ending.

    I think every now and again they should drop the Modern Girl and end it like the album version. It is fucking cool.

    And yes Lukin into Not For You is ace too
