It seems that everytime I hear PJ do a new cover I always think to myself that they play it better then the original artist. Right now I can stop playing the cover of Mother from the Jimmy Fallon show, the show was months ago but I can't stop playing it. With that said what is your favorite cover song that PJ has played?
Nature has it's own religion, gospel from the land.

I just have to jump in and say that Eddie singing this has nothing on Floyds version but I do like it all the same.
The cover I most enjoy is Jeff Buckley doing Strange Fruit.
Many bands have covered Rockin In The Free World but I think only PJ can top the original.
"Never eat more than you can carry" Miss Piggy
"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours" Stephen Roberts
"Retired? Fuck off, you're revolting. Look at your suntan, it's leather, it's like LEATHER MAN, your skin. We could make a fucking suitcase out of you. Like a crocodile, fat crocodile, fat bastard. You look like fucking Idi Amin, you know what I mean?" Don Logan

Love this song. And I, too, first heard it from Saratoga 2000 (from the boot though; I didn't attend). And I must say I am the proud owner of The La's on vinyl. It's a shame that Lee Mavers was a typical English prick that was never satisfied with anything, because that album rules from start to finish. Would've loved to've heard more of them.
Eddie Vedder- 7/16/11
Brad- 4/21/12 (RSD Performance), 4/27/12, 8/10/12
Flight To Mars- 5/23/12
RNDM- 11/27/12
PEARL JAM- 12/6/13 I have finally seen Pearl Jam live!
That's an original PJ tune. But an amazing song nonetheless.
Thanks for confirming, I was so confused after reading that I'm like, WHAT?! Sounds like such a PJ song!

Win, win and win.
Heard Timeless Melody at my first ever show (Manchester 2000), but didn't know the song back then. Love listening to that bootleg now.
And Mother is one of the many, many highlights on the South American boots.
