not a terrible song, but rather it not be on the new album. All fresh material would be awesome. Maybe 'of the earth', but wouldn't mind seeing that on a lost dogs 2 either.
I agree! Its not great, but it does make me feel like dancing, which for me, is always a good sign!

Ha, reminds me of a Lita Ford tune...
JK, sounded great in Peru though. Can I hear it again live for some comparison?!?
Not worthy of a place on the next album but a good hearty lost dog. It's much better than Sweet Lew anyway. It's only rock & roll but I like it!

Sorry to keep ripping this song to shreds, but did anyone see this? Not an Oasis fan at all, but this is ridiculous....How can this band rip off fucking Oasis??
What was the meaning behind Olé when they put it out on the website for free? Is this track going to be on the new album? Maybe it will be a single? I cannot come up with any idea, so... but all i know it's a pretty good tune!
Highly unlikely that Ole' will be on the new album.

Wouldn't complain if it made it on the next album. As long as the tracklist is still 13-15 tracks.
Good opener, been putting it on some mix CD's lately and it works pretty good at gettin' the ball rollin'.
Hey, hey. My, my. Rock and roll can never die.

With this song i don't care about the lyrics at all. It has a good vibe, good baseline, a good rhythm! Ed's voice sonds fresh and smooth! I like it better than Ghost or Comatose or Cropduster...

I'm not a fan of Olé, but live it isn't so bad. They played Olé in Brazil and it was better than studio version.
Anyway I hope this song isn't on the next album.
Let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah.
It's growing up just like me.
they play it 1st time on tv.....world premmierre on tv......
what do you think?...no reason to do it,if wasnt to be in the new album...

after a few listens its not all that bad...after the first listen i think i wanted to punch my laptop....but after a few times its a decent b-side..maybe for lost dogs 2 or something....definitely shouldnt be on the next album tho

I can tell you, I've had enough of knuckleheads. Olé is a great song!

I really hope this song is not on the album. Or this is no indication of what the new album will sound like. This sounds like a song they wrote in 10 minutes. It flat out sucks. I'm tired of pearl jam writing fast, punk rock sounding songs. I wish they would experiment more. They are starting to become predictable. Go ahead, rip into me
Using the words of Eddie, "Come on you fuckers!" We should just be happy that after 21 years the band still has the energy to putting out new, fast paced songs like this rather than leaning on the classics for every show.

Their worst song ever. It's actually an embarrassment for a band this good. Why they seem so proud of it is beyond me. Please do not put this garbage on the album.

Alright, I'm done. I'm going to pretend like this shitty tune never happened...
Isn't there another Oasis song that sounds exactly like PJ's supersonic?
Na, Oasis do have a song called Supersonic though.

If Ole was the single release off a debut album for a brand new band, the song would be played about 14 times worldwide where people would quickly switch stations before they were subjected to the entire length of the tune. And the band would quickly dissolve into oblivion faster than they appeared.
It's an absolutely horrible song made out to be reasonable by one of the world's greatest rock bands loyal legion of fans. The band will obviously remain awesome in my eyes, but I cannot lend any support for defending such an atrocity. Here's to better writing!

Not necessarily. Could just have easily thought "we've got a new track, let's play it". When they come round to finalising the tracklist for the album, this might not make the cut (hopefully!!!).

Totally agree Thirty Bills Unpaid. For me, Ole and Supersonic are probably the worst things they have ever written. Will always love the band but if Ole is the direction the band is heading towards, I'll become a nostalgic fan of Pearl Jam.
