I assume that most are around Atl, but I'm just curious of the other cities where members may be? I'm in Monticello...about 45 miles north of Macon. Or, am I the only one? Nooooooooo

  • I live in Athens but I am from Macon. As I drive between the two frequently, I know Montecello well.

Joined in 2003 I think. I used to live just past Lake Wildwood for a few years.

Loganville here (east of Atlanta but closer to Athens), but I spent my teens in middle Georgia (Dublin). I have spent some time in Macon but never lived there.

  • From Alpharetta, GA. Been in N ATL area over 15 years. Fan since Ten release. Guitarist in a band that plays original music plus alot of fun covers of course PJ being my favorite. My drummer and I talk about forming a PJ cover band, but alas, the rest of the band resists. We're The Drunken Squirrels. Look us up if you're around Atlanta. We play out about 1x/mo or so. Family/work obligations get in way (fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it), or we'd play more.

And yes, an Atlanta show in 2012 would be awesome.

+1 on the Atlanta 2012 wish...

If you ever need a bass player to dink around some PJ covers, let me know. I'm a little rusty (as with you, family/work not always in that order!), but would be willing to knock off some of the dust!

Grew up (21 years) in Marietta but left GA about 10 years ago for work in the Pacific Northwest. PJ needs to show the south some love. Attended both 09 EV shows in ATL as well as PJ 03 and the GA crowds brought great energy. Here's hoping for 2012.

Not as many as I thought. I was more curious because I met Jeff's sister at a 5K a few weeks back, in Macon. She spotted my PJ sock hat and asked me about it. She and her husband were very nice and we talked PJ for about 30 minutes...I brought her up to speed :)
