Eddie Interview in Fretboard Journal Coming Soon

I searched and didn't see this anywhere. Sounds very cool!

In Fretboard Journal #24, which is being designed right now, there are a ton of great stories and photographs about musicians and instrument builders that we'll discuss later but I'm excited to announce the issue's cover story: a lengthy interview and photo shoot with Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder. We talked to Vedder about the 20th anniversary of his band, his songwriting process, his guitar collection and, of course, ukuleles (he has a stellar ukulele album out now, in case you didn't know). This 20-page feature will be out before the end of the year and we can't wait to show it to you.

    Thats a lot of pages if its just Ed! :)

    It sounds to me like it's 20 page on Ed and PJ. The mag is pricey, so can't be just 20 pages for the whole mag :mrgreen:

    I am dying for this to come out! I asked a rep yesterday at Barnes and Noble when they expect the next issue. I was told that the current issue #23 is to be left out until January 8th. So hopefully we can expect this in the next week or so.

    Just want to say that Fretboard Journal is by far the coolest and greatest guitar magazine you will ever find. And worth every penny.

    Just placed an order. It's $22.95 International. When I received the email confirmation I thought it came from Amazon. Their emails look so much alike.

    No wonder my mail takes so long to receive from the 10club. Who would want to move that cart filled with 10club goodies away when Ed's playing the guitar?

    It is great that this interview is going to be in the magazine...I am sure I will check it out..But, it wouldn't hurt for the 10c to have an interview with a band member in the deep mag..

    Am I correct that connection is not secure? I'm a little reluctant to place an order when I'm not sure it's save to fill in my credit card information.

    It normally is but there is a big red line through "https" when I want to order. I used IE now instead of Chrome, and I was able to safely order a copy.

    They look like the SL 72's but a little more modern. Not sure at all! They are pretty rad though. I have always loved Adidas and New Balance running shoes!
