Age Old Question: Bootlegs, which one?

I got the analog membership so as you all know I can get a bootleg. I haven't had the privilege of going to a show yet, I live in NC and have limited traveling means. So I was hoping (like many) that you who have been to shows could recommend a great boot to use my coupon on. Thanks!

    2010 NYC 1,2 or Newark. That's where I'd start. Those three are fucking solid!

    2010 NYC 1,2 or Newark. That's where I'd start. Those three are fucking solid!
    The energy of the crowd and the band at the NYC shows especially is electric, just unbelievable. Or you cold hold out for this years Canada/Alpine Valley boots.

    what part of nc? i live close to the border, so next show time if you live close i could give you a ride ...i play & write 2...as far as boots go 5-18-10 newark is great cause the setlist ..alone & brother!!! but the msg shows & philly shows are awesome 2...gremmie.net has one of the msg 10 shows, you could get 1 free & use your code for the other one. newark was right before those...philly would be best bought as the box...go 2 twofeetthick.com & check the setlists, go 2 gremmie.net & get 1 of the msg shows & then make your decision.. hope that helps..

    Yes. Definitely wait until Tuesday when Alpine comes out. It'll be worth the wait.

    I was just listening to 5/21/10. You can't go wrong with that or Philly 10/30/09..but the crowd at 5/21 is just incredible!

    i've been checking the goods a lot waiting to see whats gonna happen with the alpine shows...we've got a link to the canadian shows (i plan on buying both nights of toronto..) but theres GOT to be something special (hopefully unlimited) coming for alpine...i watched the new recap vid last night & am starting to think we're in for something else...hopefully a 4 cd 2 dvd set...i've spent a LOT this year on pj so far...the pj20 sndtrk vinyl is still comin 2...and i need 2 renew my membership next month....i don't care.. i've been picking up extra shifts 2 cover it..i can't wait for tuesday, as the rumors have it....but o yeah bonnaroo is great 2!

    I'm eyeing Toronto 1 from this year with Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns :mrgreen:

    As for boots already there, MSG 2 2010 and Boston 2010 are my two favourite boots at the moment!

    Cleveland 2010 is a solid choice, has wash, in hiding, leash, sleight of hand, smile. Plus it's something different NYC, Philly, and Boston get enough love.

    Yep I had the same drama as OP - decisions, decisions.... Decided to go with Philly 31st Oct. Mainly coz I wanted to hear Bugs for something a little different....only 34 min download time to go...
