I noticed I'm running out of space on my IPhone. I have alot of music I want to clear off the Ipod to free up space.

Is there anyway to manage/ delete music off the Iphone without having to connect it to a laptop? IE delete the music right off the IPhone?

Oh I am so confused.

Thanks in advance for any help. As I need it.

Gotta connect it up to your computer, can't do it off the phone cos you can't do shit with an Apple device.

Connect it up to you PC but "untick" the music you dont want on there on your itunes.. then sync it again... voila!

I will try that soon..so the library on my Iphone has to be displayed on the laptop right?

Just want to empty out my phone...so much crap on there!! Almost all 6.7 GB used up...

Yeah.. the music on your iphone is basically a copy of your itunes on your PC (its just a portable hard drive).. so if you "untick" songs on the iTunes on your pc then they wont be copied onto your iphone when you sync it... so you can manage what you have on there.

If you want to play those somngs again on your itunes, through your pc, you'll have to tick them again :D

I have a 16 GB micro SD that I got last year, that I was using in my crappy Blackberry Pearl before I got the Iphone.

I have no clue what to do with it now. :?

upgrade to ios5 and at the top of the screen of your playlist an option to delete should appear.
