Can anyone tell if I can hook up a blue-ray player to my Standard Definition Wide-Screen TV? Is there a scart on blue-ray players and can it convert the picture down to standard definition? I might afford a blue-ray player but not a new HD-TV because when I buy one I'll buy a really good one and those are like 1000€ :(
edit: I did a google search and they don't have scart but some models have s-video and composite so I believe I'll get the SD video to my SD TV after all...
