false. remasters generally sound LOUDER, which means less nuance.
Is this like the anti-Spinal Tap ("Why don't you just make 10 louder." "Uh, well, Uh, because this goes to 11!")
I'm pretty sure most modern stereos have balance/equalizers that allow you to refine the sound. I think they also have volume scales.
If the whole thing is louder, can't I make the vocals lower, so I can still hear them while emphaizing other parts of the spectrum (for example)? Or, are you saying just the bad parts are louder while the parts that only appear on the vinyl disappear on a technology that is both clearer and more "realistic" than any technology that has preceded it?
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Very excited for the DVD. http://trixiefilm.com/ captured the video. I was there the second night. Brendan Canty (drummer Fugazi) was filming. Great show!
A good compromise, a good piece of legislation, is like a good sentence; or a good piece of music. Everybody can recognize it. They say, 'Huh. It works. It makes sense.'

But, in the day and age when re-issues are being made so you can hear every nuance the artist intended

Would not say false. I thought the Ten reissue sounded clear and I was able to pick up things in the music and production that was not evident on the original.

No worries. They think 3 answers to a board message makes a quorum.
I think 3d is wonderful because I says so.
Btw go UCONN!

that is because you are hearing a different mix, which i agree, is better. that does not mean, as a whole, it SOUNDS better.

you're 100% correct. when i recorded with... nevermind....
the engineer said that, these days, that's what everyone is doing.... making the mix so loud so that it can be heard LOUD at LOW volume. that means that when you turn it up... because it's already loud... it sounds like SHIT. that's what all these remastered pieces of shit are.... pieces of shit, including anything from... well... ANY band.

With Ed's new “Ukulele Songs” record coming out, PLEASE, if you release bonus tracks exclusive to iTunes, please make them available for 10club member's. Maybe available on 10club special edition Ed's Ukulele CD or something.
Has there been any confirmation one way or another if the Ed DVD will or won't be available in blu-ray?
To my knowledge theres been no further news since the official announcement that there is an album and dvd getting released.
My guess is when they decide to announce when we can actually order on here, is when we will also find out if the dvd is available in blu-ray format too

Santos said if it isn't mentioned in the announcements that it's also on blu-ray then it probably isn't.
That's a no buy for me then. I'll wait until it's on netflix. To me DVD is a dead format.
That's weird, because more DVDs are sold every day than BlueRays.

Come on, lets pre-order! my girlfriend is starting to think i have money again ...
Its the question we're all asking........I think alot of people want the vinyl purely for the collectors value, hoping its another ITW. Look at the prices an original ITW goes for now.
