Holy crap, I was at that show too and I'm not sure I remember this one even existing. I've been living with the generic "Binaural 2000" tour poster on my wall thinking that was pretty much it. If memeory serves they were selling this in the parking lot after the show. I'll be watching this one too...

This was the first PJ show I ever attended, and I don't remember posters being sold at all; just T-shirts. I checked the online PJ poster archives, and don't even see this one listed.

Back for the show in 2000, Ames did not make a specific show poster for this date. At the time, they were only making posters for venues where multiple nights were to be played, with a few exceptions. But, the Philly poster from 2000 was sold at this show.
These posters were made by a group called The Missing Link. Their intention was to create posters for every show that didn't have one. Their initial mass e-mailing had posters for sale from Chicago, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh. The e-mail sale was practically identical to that of the Ames sale e-mails. Sales were stopped after the first week.
There aren't too many of these or the other ones out there.

i think the keith haring or salvidor dali print they could've bought for that money would've looked even nicer... and would've actually retained its value over time
a couple decades after PJ is gone these posters won't be worth shit

It's still better looking than Keith's work and the work on your site (no offense). As a matter of value I'm sure the owner will be happy with it. Not all art is for investment, some is for enjoyment. You think an artist would know that and be far less critical of other decisions and work. Also I don't think you'd be able to find either artists original print, signed, for $1000.

i work at a gallery and have seen prints from both for around that price... they're both known for big print runs
i'm sure the new owner has a lovely collection of john wayne gacy paintings too... for his/her enjoyment
