This track, Parting Ways, Of The Girl, Thin Air, NAIS are

Metamucil helps certain things to move. Sleight of Hand never fails to move DTL10. Therefore Sleight of Hand = DTL10's Metamucil.

    Exactly!

I think if you're not in the mood for a song you have to actually digest and listen to the lyrics it can lose it's luster.

That is what I love about Pearl Jam...most of the timeyou have to actually digest the song.
"Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse...of my innocense, got back my inner sence, baby got it...still got it"

    Incredible lyrics...

routine was the theme, he'd wake up and...wash and pour himself into uniform
    something he hadn't imagined being...
as the merging traffic passed, he found himself staring, down, at his own hands..
not remembering the change, not recalling the plan, was it...?
he was okay, but wondering about wandering
was it age? by consequence? or was he moved by sleight of hand?
mondays were made to fall, lost on a road he knew by heart
it was like a book he read in his sleep, endlessly...
sometimes he hid in his radio, watching others pull into their homes
    while he was drifting...
on a line, of his own, off the line, on the side
by the by, as dirt turned to sand, as if moved by sleight of hand
when he reached the shore of his clip-on world
    he resurfaced to the norm
organized his few things, his coat and keys...
any new realizations would have to wait til he had more time, more time...
    time to dream, to himself
    he waves goodbye, to himself
i'll see you on the other side...
another man...moved by sleight of hand...
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

sleight of hand might be the biggest show stopper in pearl jam's catalogue: stopping the energy of a show that is. nothing like having the energy sucked completely out of a venue when a song like this is played. sleight of hand is up there with cropduster or you are.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Funny, but just before I read your post, I read the one a few above it, talking about one of the greatest Pearl Jam shows ever ... a show you were obviously NOT at, but have you ever heard it? Here's the post:

    2003-07-11 Mansfield Massachusetts

    2003-07-11 Mansfield Massachusetts Tweeter Center

Set 1 Long Road, Of The Girl, Sometimes, Off He Goes, All Those Yesterdays, Driftin', Thin Air, Sleight Of Hand, Footsteps, All Or None, Parting Ways, Indifference
Set 2 Can't Keep, Breakerfall, Brain Of J., Spin The Black Circle, Ghost, Green Disease, Tremor Christ, Given To Fly, Nothing As it Seems, Cropduster, Faithfull, Why Go, Wishlist/(Why Can't I Touch It?), Leatherman, Nothingman, Better Man, 1/2 Full, Untitled, MFC, Blood
Encore 1 Breath, Habit, Down, Mankind, U, Black, Jeremy
Encore 2 Arc, I Believe In Miracles, Know Your Rights, Fortunate Son, Rockin' In The Free World
    Encore 3 Yellow Ledbetter

I just can't stop remembering how unbelievable this show was.
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!
