Night one and night two baby! Flying across the country for the weekend with my roommate. Obviously looking to meet some cool people...so let me know if you'll be there too!

    Both nights as well. Got the first pair about 40 minutes after they went up, and the second pair just now. Woo-fucking-HOOOOOO!!!!!!

    You are my fucking HERO! I had just completely given up and and then saw this post and tried again and got tickets for Sunday! I'm totally buying you a drink before the show! Thanks! :)

    I'll be attending both shows with Jambayleaf, so I'll have a drink with you as well! And, April 12 is my birthday! I can't wait! Where is everyone staying? Is there a PJ party hotel? The only time we've been to CA is for the SB show in '03, so we have no idea where to stay, or what to do. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Yeah, I'm looking for hotel advice too...some place inexpensive (those cross country flights are pricey!) and close to the venue would be awesome... Never been to LA, so this is all new to me.

    All the info I've been getting says not to stay near the venue, as it may not be the safest place to stay.

    Its really NOT that bad around there. Its like the downtown of any large city.
    5 miles in any direction can take you a range of places: from South Central(no bueno) to Beverly Hills (muy bueno)

    Its no Skid Row by any means...

    In L.A., make sure you have transportation arranged...our subway is very very limited, and city bus service is not that great. Renting a car is the best thing, unless you have friends who can chaffeur you around!

    It looks like the metro should be easy to get from LAX to downtown LA, right?

    I'll be hosting a cool little after party/gathering at my place on Saturday night between shows. I'm about a half hour - 40 mins at the most- away from the wiltern :D I have a soft spot for peeps from Wisconsin!!

    We're going to have a crew of stumbling, clueless Pearl Jam fans taking over the city for a weekend. Locals! Help us not make fools of ourselves!
