    The fact that it has been delayed leads me to believe that it is something technical ie a download of some sort

    This is what I've been speculating since In Rainbows came out. We all know they have leftover material from "Avocado", Ed said doing Into The Wild had him excited about writing material with the guys, Stone was excited about Radiohead's business model and, as someone stated in another thread, a few of the other Bonnaroo headliners have new material to showcase.

    Plus, if it is a new album....then that means a new tour. *smiley*

    This was pointed out to me by the Australian genius who masterminded the Newcastle (Australia) concert. He has some friends in high places and has pulled off some cunning stunts before.

    Maybe he has some inside info :D or just a good guess

    i would actually SO prefer this to a full blown tour right now! im supposed to be saving up $ for my study abroad next year... the temptation to go to every show would be too great! doesnt really make sense to do another full tour of the same album anyway...

    I've kind of hoped this, but I actually think this might be true. Maybe announce the tour tomorrow then announce the album out next week? Who knows.

    Exactly. And won't be able to attend a show if it's not in Europe. But as I am a technical idiot I fear I just couldn't handle this download shit.

    the thing is that most of time things go on sale a few days after it is announced. Then, even if it's a download, I have doubt it will be available for download immedaitely. Maybe next Monday..?

    I can't see it being free... but this thought DID enter my head yesterday when I read about the white stripes doing the same thing. It seems to be the way to go these days :cool:
