  • don't ask me where/when/how...but hasn't this been going around for ages? so many different sources and rumors, so i don't even know anymore....but i thought that on more than one occasion it has been mentioned about pj returning to the studio this spring.

who knows? they HAVE had a nice break by pearl jam standards :p nowadays.....they all could've been writing away! two band members have relatively new babies at home...could prove to be inspiring......we've got a big election coming up, ALWAYS inspiring to ed. i WILL say, with the ed tour in early april...and at least ONE confirmed show past that, june for bonaroo........not much time there. but hell, they could go in, lay down some tracks and experiment. 'going in the studio' does NOT have to end with putting out an album, but it sure is a start. :D

i LOVE all the frenzy and passion around rumors...hopefully this will be one helluva year, AND a new president voted in to boot!

wmmr has always been pretty reliable when it comes to PJ news. If it's true they are working with B'O'B again I think everyone should be excited about that. If they are then they will likely be recording in Atlanta.

  • while the band are undoubtedly comfortable with kasper, the production on avocado was pretty flat and undynamic, and really not just that interesting at all..

o'brien as long as he keeps the gloss low, is a great produucer and could really get a great record out of them.. i hope he pushes ed to sing better/get better takes.. id love him to deliver the qauality of vocals last seen on yield.

conversely, i woul've like dto see them go with someone they have never worked with.. maybe scott litt, nigel godrich or some up and comer
