Good mainstream hip hop

Whats included on your list? Obviously I tend to prefer underground and alternative hip hop, but the 2 I can think of in the mainstream, Jay and Lil Wayne, are easily two of the top dogs.

Who else is mainstream, but worth the listen?

    No hip-hop is worth listening to these days ... maybe Common, but that's about it. You have to go back in time for anything not made as a direct result of marketing strategies. :(

    The Roots are pretty mainstream and they are still making fantastic music.

    lots of great 90s/00s mainstream hiphop acts performing their seminal albums live straight thru (a recent trend in live shows that i fully endorse)

    Eminem is really the only hip hop I listen to. His new album is pretty good too.

    Depends what you mean by mainstream I suppose!

    Don't mind me a little Common, The Roots, Jurassic 5, Talib Kwali, Mos Def...

    Do De la Soul count these days?! Loved their last few albums too. Different to the early stuff, but still great.
