    I've always taken the Thin Air lyrics literally to be between father and child
    not a romantic love song so I'm going with Just Breathe
    I think your guests will enjoy it and in the long term of a lifetime together it will
    be the most meaningful

    Hrm... I guess I can buy the father/daughter interpretation for most of the lyrics.
    How to be happy and true / is the quest we're taking on together

    Sure, that could be stretched to fit that interpretation, but to me, that resounds much more like a romantic relationship. Infants aren't taking on quests together w/ anyone... and being true to someone is not a characteristic typically applied to babies.

    In the guise of full disclosure, Thin Air was the "first dance" song at our wedding and I don't want that memory sullied by misinterpretation. :)

    Parent and child, yes it is a quest, a quest of learning and experiencing life together, start to finish.
    True means to remain forever faithful to another, not to hurt or abandon. It is a pledge of the heart. For me this is parent and child also, most especially if that parent experienced any sort of trauma or abuse as a child. Remaining true to their child will be of up most importance to them.

    These both still seem like more of a stretch to me than the romantic interpretation.
