    Dont get me wrong, their coffee is WONDERFUL (if you need the secret recipe for the lattes let me know :D ) But i find myself wanting to stab myself when sitting in one, overhearing some yup talk about some random boring thing that is happening in their world thats lame , at an extremely loud decibel no less.

    kinda true. but the one i go to the employees are really nice. i have met some interesting people even amongst the crappy ones.

    I hate Starbucks too, but as a coffee addict I can't imagine my life without it. :(

    That said, I've heard them play ITW many times in the one by my job.
    A week or two ago I was in there and there was this little old couple who were drinking their coffee, eating their muffin and reading the paper. The old woman was like "I really like this song, I wonder who it is..." It was Society. :)

    my biggest pet peave is the people that sit all attentively at their laptops for hours probably working on their "brilliant" screenplay / debut novel... nothing spurs creativity quite like a room full of dorks :p
