Good show. Not the best but I got some songs for the first time. Loved the Indifference/Watchtower ending. Pretty packed show but not 100%. There was a backdrop. Loved hearing Lukin, Go, Footsteps, and of course Leatherman.

LOOKING FOR TIX TO MSG NIGHT 2
  • It didn't top last night's show by any means but was great to hear Immortality, Footsteps, Brother, Brain of J and indifference not ending the show.

Crowd was way down when compared to Hartford and Boston. Can't wait for MSG

  • Very cool ending.Ruggs! You got the dedication. And Eddie put the tribute to Just Breathe...not what was requested but consider an added contribution from Eddie. You got Alive, plus a new song you and your pops can cherish as well. see you at MSG!

You made it home super quick! Glad to see seats filled up. Several sites had plenty of tickets for real cheap.

Leatherman?! I was hoping for that one in Hartford. It would've been perfect for Hartford.

Did Ed think I'm from Newark?

Not to offend anyone! But the whole 10c crowd on the floor should have their membership revoked. And the 10c menbers in the second row on Mike's end, they should be shot and then have their membership revoked. You slugs...............

Another great show tonight. It sits nicely behind the last 2. Loved getting to check a few more off my list (Brother & Alone). The rest of the set was pretty solid. In Hiding, Inside Job, Once, Go, and You Are were highlights for me. See you at MSG!!!!

would it be because most of the fanclub members probably saw last nights show and were just tired or the show couldn't live up to last night's expectations, so the level of energy was lower?

There were a few of us jumping most of the show... a few...
  • I thought the show was great. I was on the floor for the first time and I must say i was a bit disappointed. I felt like all through the show they just did not know what was going on. I went in with a sore throat and a bad cold and I still jumped around and screamed my lungs out. Although now I probably won't have a voice for MSG, I had an awesome time at Newark.

Set was excellent and the band deserved a better crowd than they got. 1/2 our section in 131 sat the whole show.

Partied in Boston till 3am..... Went to kellys for a
lobster roll after, then drove to long island at 6am, then took the train to Penn/nj transit(on it right now)...... Needless to say I gave all I had to rock out tonite and the band gave us yet another
    phenominal set/performace!!!!

The rock is real nice, gotta give it up to Boston for crowd energy but regardless tonite was way more than I expected!

Anyone see that nasty cat fight on the way out? A large sum of hair got yanked.....WTF was that about

I wonder what's left for MSG

    Thank u pj

    never dissapoint

The floor may not have been jumping all night but section 18 sure as hell was! Great energy tonight! Thrilled with the set list. Kept thinking throughout (take note nutjobs) that if you could only see one show, who cares what preceded it, who cares what's to follow, all that matters is the here and now and in the here and now that show kicked my ass. Thanks as always to Pearl Jam for putting on an amazing show. I'm thankful for seeing more than one show this tour, but every now and again it's nice to remember when it was all about the present tense. Peace and see you on Thursday!

Of the girl and brain of J were a great start. Other highlight for me was Brother. A pity they finished the gig with the same 3 songs as Hartford. An the Newark crowd was no where near the Hartford crowd. I agree with comments about 10c members on the floor. I would also like to thank the 2 skanks in front of us for bitching and moaning about some jacket for the whole show. Take your mullet wigs and stick em where the sun don't shine and don't ever come to a PJ gig again.
