Um...what? :?
http://www.spin.com/articles/sneak-peek ... shion-line
Kings of Leon fans can now wear jeans just as skin-tight as the Followills themselves! But there's one problem: you might have to take out a second mortgage on your home to afford 'em.
SPIN's Band of the Year have created trendy new fashion line, KOL x S2A, via the Paris-based company Surface to Air. Their 12-piece collection just hit stores in Europe, and will arrive in the U.S. on Jan. 25.
Visit Vogue UK for a sneak peek -- and prepare to open your wallet wide: a black bomber jacket runs about $1185; a t-shirt $114; skinny jeans $225; black leather ankle boots $578; flat-brimmed fedora $267; flannels shirts $180; a belt $200; and a bandana $104.
Style doesn't come cheap, people!
The KOL x S2A collection will be available at fine men's clothing stores, including Barneys New York and online retailer Gargyle.
Just days after the collection hits racks, the Kings will attend the 52nd annual Grammy Awards ceremony -- and it's safe to say they'll arrive in style. The Followills are nominated for four awards: Best Rock Song, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
In other KOL news, drummer Nathan Followill -- who married his longtime girlfriend, singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin, in November -- said the boys are working on tracks for a new album, which sound like a mix of Radiohead, Thin Lizzy, and the Band. A remix album featuring Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Mark Ronson, and more is also in the works.

This is not a step in the "Success kit" that Eddie bestowed upon the Followills two years ago. It's like how Chris Rock and Adam Sandler talk about getting the "Success kit" from Jerry Seinfeld.
F KOL. I hope they lose all their money on this venture."FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250 -

I'm pretty bummed that a band with so much potential to kick ass would go in that kind of direction...$180 for a designer flannel? Really? The oceans made me, but who came up with love?

The kings of leon suck. This has been established since I saw them stand in place on a stage in Austin. They suck balls, not that there is anything wrong with that.0

The Kings Of Leon are a bunch of emo, hillbilly faggots, they are grossly overrated in every respect. Their first couple of albums were ok but nothing spectacular. The fact that they are bringing out a line of clothing show that there are many people out there who want to look like emo, hillbilly faggots. I saw the Kings Of Leon live in 06 at the Big Day Out ( music festival we have here ) and watched about 3 songs before thinking fuck this and adjourning back to the beer tent. Just shit. I have seen a lot of bands live and in comparison to some of the bands doing the rounds they are utter rubbish. Also they had a pink drumset which I thought was very gay. Drumsets come in whatever colour you want so for them to pick pink, I thought "These guys are fuckin' tossers".0

I really like KOL but this shit is lame. Who would actually want to dress exactly like them anyway? It's not as if they've got a particularly unique look.DewieCox wrote:Fuck KoL?? A PJ clothing line? That would just give even more ammuntion to the people with nothing better to do than write another "PJ Are Sellouts" post...
...but one of Jeff's old hats would be cool though!:D“Do not postpone happiness”

Emo hillbilly faggots? Does that even make sense? I mean some genres cross-pollinate better than others...Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer
