    you just gotta realize going in that when they announce 1 boston show and 2 msg shows and thats it that you will have a hard time getting tickets...cause millions of people live there...and thats also why columbus and indy rock.

    It worked great yesterday (2 for 2) but I got shut out of all 3 today. Got shut out for one in Philly too. It's no problem becasue I can afford to go to Ohio on a junket but what if Boston (closest to me) was the only show I could go to? It was fucking frustrating as I had the "buy" button about 15 times and then "tore our face offf". Long day

    It is a great system! The problem with MSG is supply and demand people. There are way more people trying for tickets then there are available. Simple economics.

    I've said it in past tours... everyone who jumps on the people venting should really back off a bit.

    I was lucky today, but many of us have been on the short end if its not here than some other sale somewhere. It sucks - esp when you lose the cart, or it times out and you don't even see the tickets for a while or however it goes wrong.

    I'm happy to have gotten tickets, but I feel horrible for the other people who didn't. THe fact that I got tickets does not in any way make this system work great or work well. I suppose the one thing is that everyone has an equal shot and a lot of it is luck although there are obviously some tricks I'm sure people have.

    Anyway - while some of us are celebrating we should give the people letting off some steam a bit of slack. I'd be really mad too if I didn't get in after trying for hours with the site barely loading and teasing with BUY buttons.

    i don't normally complain about the ticket process. i understand supply and demand and i've been shut out of ticket sales before. it's the fact i sat here refreshing my computer for FOUR HOURS tonight with "temporarily out of stock" before it was finally officially out of stock. there's gotta be a better way so that we're not holding on for hours. what happened to the 'ten minute' rule that was supposedly implemented this time around?

    i hear ya...i didn't even try this time. had no time with work this week. just really bugs me to see like every single thread on the porch complaining about the same thing.


    hey i just filled out my bracket...got nova losing to kansas in the title game! :mrgreen: i love their region. best possible scenario!

    the 10-minute rule isn't going to drastically speed anything up. supply and demand is what kept so many on the computer for hours. lots of folks were hoping to catch those tickets that were dropping after 10 minutes, thats why so many people kept staying and kept refreshing the page.

    no, but i hoped it would let us know after...say...an hour... that tickets aren't available anymore. if those tickets were in carts but not being bought they should've been dropped and we could've been notified much sooner that none were available.

    oh well...i've calmed down. i could've stopped trying much earlier but it's hard to walk away when it's still saying 'temporary'!!
