You guys just have a bunch of kids playing. Just make sure they are wearing their diapers. They will be scared shitless. I predict we will score within the first 3 mins. :D

They did and their goalie was amazing!!! I liked Luongo but how many serious shots did he even face in that first game?? Like fifteen? I kept yelling at the TV

We do have to pick up our game though. I think we can do it...:D

I thought we should maybe put Lou back in net for the US game, but after the shoot out, gotta go with Marty. Think he will just elevate his game from here on out.

I give Canada the edge, but how do you figure that the US will be scared? All these guys are NHL'ers who have played against/with the Canadian players (some for several years). It's not like some ragtag bunch of college kids going up against the evil Soviet empire.

I think the way for the US to win is to take the body every single chance they get and don't give the skill guys of Canada any space. Even if Canada wins, playing physical like that will give them something to think about in a potential rematch in the playoff/medal round.

Hopefully the Gold Medal game. I want to see Canada play the US in the Gold Medal game. All i meant by the kid remark is they are young and going up against such a great Canadian team, they will be nervous.

USA can't win a tournament in hockey cause hockey is a team sport, and the individualistic DNA in Americans is too strong.

  • I say we end Miller Time
  • I know this sounds cliche....but Canada better score early. If they don't score in the first 10 minutes, they will start to get nervous and desperate....then they will start passing too much

I like Marty, he's played in game 7 of the finals, nothing prepares for the olympics than game 7 of the finals.

Well the Olympics did anyways. Did you hear they made him cover up Miller Time on his helemt? I guess its too close to the beer slogan and they don't want that.

Miller is good, but Marty's pedigree is far superior.

Yeah, if it's a close game Canada will probably tighten up before the US does...SO much pressure on them. However, being a Pens fan I can't really doubt Crosby. The bigger the stage, the better he seems to get, and he seems to own Ryan Miller.
