I completely agree, at least with rock poster art. I want anything and everything by BK now.

me too ... best part of the email :

    A couple things:
    1. By purchasing the print, you acknowledge that the edges of your metal print is sharp and do not hold The Faded Line Clothing Co. responsible for injuries that may occur. Please remove and handle your print carefully!

Got my confirm as well on the metal. Honestly with the puzzle not selling out and the drawings for the metal coming from that...I think any puzzle owner has a good chance!

I did like this part of the email:

By purchasing the print, you acknowledge that the edges of your metal print is sharp and do not hold The Faded Line Clothing Co. responsible for injuries that may occur.

I tried for one and didn't get it but that is alright because I got the cybercycle one. My first emek. I have the pj version of the cloak as well. Probably didn't have the money for both anyway. So I am happy.

I'm kickin myself for not going after that one as well. One of my favorite recent Emek's and I think it will look great on metal. Congrats.
  • I guess I'm the only one on the board who wanted one but didn't get it. If anyone on here won the chance to buy one and is having second thoughts, PM and I'm sure we can work something out.

D'oh! My best bet is to email the faded line if any prints metal prints don't sell out. I've heard a few that when they heard they won, they didn't want that won print. Some had no flow or wanted the other metal print. Not sure what will happen to those customers. Cause they agreed & said yes to the offer, they would have to pay for it. If not, keep checking back with them to see if anything is available.

    Good luck.

Hopefully given the amount of time that has elapsed they will be flexible with people wanting to back out....I also wonder what this thing will go for in the secondary market - maybe less than cost? I guess I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe I should cancel mine and try to score one below cost...

Btw, I'm not sure how to interprete the confirm email - should we expect these to
take another two to three weeks or more to ship? If that's the case wow.

Yep, 2-3 more weeks. But remember it's only a 2 man group @ The Faded Line. Shipping to Canada will be double but I don't care. I'm never gonna sell it. My first ever metal print & it's a Klausen? Can't wait to magnetic this baby up on the wall! 8-)

Some of the folks over at ebeans are indicating that the Emek is made out of aluminum - no iron content, so it actually won't be magnatized, unfortunately, so I don't think we'll be able to put it on the wall that way...
