I left KOL early also to beat the crowd and missed Eddie, but if the band didn't play anywhere last night, they are doing the ACL taping tonight and they play on Sunday at the festival and then play Tuesday in L.A., when would they have time to play another show??? Unless they play somewhere on Monday and fly back to L.A. on Tuesday the day of the show in L.A., but I don't think they would do that.

Good Lord. Ed sitting in with Kings of Leon was like the most predictable thing maybe in the history of the world.

    Good call!

You know what would be kickass? If after their LA shows and San Diego, Eddie decides to tour with Kings of Leon to make to the Lexington, KY show this Saturday......maybe?...please? :)

I think it's funny now that Kings of Leon are popular people are starting to say they suck and how much they hate them. A couple of years ago when no one knew who they were everyone loved them. I saw them in a small club a few years ago and I saw them open for Pearl Jam last year in Columbia and I thought they were great both times I saw them. It's nice that a good rock band is getting played on the radio usually when you find someone that is into rock music it's Nickleback or something like that.

I love them. I think they're great. I just don't get it either about suddenly not liking a band anymore once they get popular. That's just stupid.

I was disappointed last time I saw KOL (Electric Factory in Philly). Thought the show lacked energy.

Have you tried the first 2 KOL studio albums? I haven't seen the setlist but I would think they are playing mostly newer material...I had been talking up KOL to everyone who would listen for 5-6 years, but I was disappointed by Only by the Night. And not because they got popular. I loved how stripped-down their sound was. The new songs are, in my opinion, waaaaaayyyyy overproduced.

As far as their live performances, check out their Day Old Belgian Blues EP.

I've never cared for them even when I first heard the a few years ago. Singer's voice sounds to whiny and forced in my opinion...
