Traveling to Shanghai & Sanya, China

I will be traveling to Shanghai and Sanya, China next month for 3 weeks on business. Has anyone been there and have advice in terms of; must see attractions, nightlife, travel, etc.

Also, you should definitely go do some shopping in the counterfeit malls, it's great fun!
And finally, if you want to eat at a really nice restaurant, go to Da Marco. It is an excellent Italian restaurant (I'm Italian so I know) which is frequented by 95% italians, Fisichella, a Formula 1 Driver eats there during the Shanghai Grand Prix. And no, it's not crazy expensive. The atmosphere is great, and when you get there, you get a glass of Prosecco (Italian bubbly).

Go to the Nanxiang restarant that specialises in xiao long bao. It's quite easy to spot, just look for the place with the longest queue in Shanghai. I never understood why people travelled to exotic places to end up with the familiar stuff you can experience back home. Namely food. The street food is tops- try the stinky tofu. Don't be put off by the smell, tastes great with some chili paste once you've stuck it in your mouth.
Hangzhou and Zuzhou are both about an hour out of Shanghai, and a lot prettier. As always there's a language barrier for people who don't speak Mandarin.

the food is fantastic if you are adventurous eater (sauteed frog, slow roasted pigs head, BBQ duck tongue for example).
if not order western food in your hotel, or get KFC, its everywhere
