what do you think this line is all about?

Life has nothing to do with killing time

    i always thought it was that life isn't about going through the motions it's about making the most of it and having fun. the phrase "killing time" is like, you're doing nothing and waiting for something to happen, and that line is saying that life isn't about that. thats just what i think.

    I bet it has a double meaning for Ed in how he emphasizes the word 'killing'. I think it might have a slight anti-war message there...
