I like this over 100 degrees and sticky in the subway. of course i'd take 60 degrees every day but i'll take this now over florida weather anyday.

50-70 degrees is perfection. i definitely like it on the cooler side....but truth be told, autumn/spring...the temperate seasons....are my ultimate fave. however, i cannot imagine living somewhere that i never got to see snow at all. i love it, so beautiful and peaceful. i do love the beach/ocean too.....just won't be there during summer months.
I dunno, man. I understand people can get "under the weather," "blue," and all that stuff, but I don't think you should be taking it out on the environment that you live in. After all, you're in New York City, possibley the greatest city in the world. The weather has been the weather since New York City has been a city.

personally wearing 12 shirts and big jackets and gloves and hats is too much for me
give me a banana hammock and a beach towel

i yearn for this time of year,( cool crisp and brisk air as opposed to hazy hot and humid )
the place is vacated , vast and open,
even if only while the tempeture stays low
and the crowds stay away.
i understand ur crowd theory but u live on the beach bathy
should be forced to stand in it with no clothes on for 24 hours,,,then their tune would change

but the reason we like it is because we're not stupid enough to stand outside with no clothes on!
seriously, the cold isn't bad if you're dressed properly....tuesday it was freezing and snowing and the ground was covered with ice and I passed this girl walking to the T wearing a little light skirt and tights and little boots with super high heels. she looked freezing and could barely move two inches at a time in those shoes. I have no sympathy for dumb-asses like that! She's the same person who's going to be complaining about the cold and snow and ice...
