What's your favourite Christmas Carol?

The kids are practising for the school Nativity. Hence the inspiration. Even the hardest hearts among you must have a favourite that they love to hear/sing at this time of year :)

Mine is 'Oh Little Town of Bethlehem'... NOT the Cliff Richard version...
A human being that was given to fly.

    Probably Hark! the Herald Angels Sing or O Holy Night.

    Ahhhh... nostalgia. I must say some of the songs they have to learn bear no relation to the carols I know and love.

    There is no more striking indication of the decline of society as we know it than the introduction of contemporary christian music.

    Fact is, the old hymns get away with it because they were written by decent composers, not happy-clappy chumps with acoustic guitars and a bontempi keyboards :o

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    O Holy Night or Little Drummer Boy (and yes, the Bowie/Crosby version is best).

    When it comes to religious carols, I love O Holy Night. Fantastic song if you have the right singer. Hark the Herald Angels Sing is great too.

    But when it comes to non-religious Christmas songs, The Christmas Song and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas never fail to tug at my heartstrings. :D
