i was wondering if any of the members here (that aren't from NZ) are shihad fans or if they've even heard of them.they are like rock royalty over here in NZ.

  • I haven't heard that song for ages, i think it was by mareko or something like that.
Yeah there name was pacifier, they changed it try and break into the american market as shihad sounded to much like ji'had, but im glad they have changed back as i think pacifier sounds pretty wimpy for a rock band

yeah, they lost a few fans over that one. that stop drop and roll song was by Savage.i don't really follow hip hop in nz, or anywhere for that matter.

I saw them here earlier this year. They actaully played where I live. The crowd was only about 100 or so people. It was when they were doing the channel v detour. They were ok. There was lots of energy when they played.

Yep I've heard of them. Loved them since 2000. Seen them 5 times. Think they are excelent live. Heaps of energy, heaps of fun! They are in my top three along with Pearl Jam and Powderfinger :)

yeah i don't mind them. they're nothing special, nothing really that original but they're a solid basics-oriented rock band. the kind of band more suited to the stage than the studio, i've seen them live a couple of times at festivals, i think that's where they belong
if you love somebody, set them free. if somebody loves you, don't fuck up
  • i know them.they sound cool...but they aren´t around anymore i think ...
