Saw first Kings of Leon show...

last night and they were great. Even in a small 4,000 seat amphitheater in Mesa, Az they made you feel like they totally appreciated the size of the crowd even after playing MSG. But, the best part was they sided so tight and energized. Thanks KOL

    Seen them twice. First time was on the Aha tour...and it was GREAT. Some small venue that fits probably 1000 people at it's ABSOLUTE max...then at Tampa last year opening for PJ. They're a great live act...but Caleb is a pompous ass, which to me always takes a little bit away from the band/music.

    I'd like to see them, but they're not comin around here.

    From a few vids I've seen, they sounded kinda sloppy, like they weren't really locked in rhythmically. Not outta time, just a bit looser than what I think their music calls for.

    I'd much rather see them in a 4,000 seat place, but I'm still pretty damn pumped to see them at Lolla palooza this summer.
