ok get the laugh out of your system for a Yanni Post

Yanni found 4 up and coming singers, and lets them write/sing vocals to his songs in their native tongues.

Nathan Pecheco- sings ala Pavarotti in Itiailan
Leslie Mills and Chloe Lowrey sing in English
Nestor Thomas in Spanish

I saw this on a PBS fundraiser show, always liked Yanni, but heard Pacheco and Chloe and was hooked

bought the Dc and seeing them at the end of the month so I have been listening to get ready.

Holy shit this is some amazing singing. I am not big into opera but Pacheco is amazing (his rendition of Enchantment is just amazing), the girls have very beautiful heartfelt songs, more of a pop groove(leslie singing forever with you---amazing Chloe Change fucking tears your heart out ) Ender has more of a Salsa to it. (Desire makes my white ass want to get up and dance).

looking for something different this is a CD to get

I(35 and a metal /alt rock nut) cannot wait to go see Yanni with my Mom, how fucking lame does that sound

My grandfather was super into Yanni, LOL. He has interesting music.

Good for you for liking a unique style of music, being eclectic is a good characteristic :D. Enjoy the show, I hear his concerts are pretty full-blown, and over the top.
