Anybody heard of these old rockers? Going to see them tonight at the Roxy and was wondering if anyone has any hope for these guys to rock. I presume with the talent it will be a solid show.

    I heard a couple of songs and it sounds pretty cool until Sammy Hagar starts singing, he makes it sound like that dumb white people's party music from the 80's. It's an awesome idea, Joe Satch and Chad Smith is a fucking killer combo, but they should have got another singer.

    Yeah, Satch is definitely the gem of this super-group. Love that guys guitar playing, and his music in general.

    note the drink service even in the front. PJ could learn something from this. And Sammy has some very attractive ladies giving out as many free shots of CABO WABO as you wanted....

    I want to like them and I hope the album is good mainly because I am a huge Satch fan. I personally think Hagar is very overrated and Van Halen's music took a swan dive when he joined. Hopefully Satriani's guitar playing can save this

    Badmotorscooter is actually a Montrose song.

    I've seen VH 7 times with both Roth and Hagar and it was always a rockin' show. I assume with Satriani it would rock as well.
